The all-terrain crane manufacturer Tadano Faun GmbH in Lauf at the Pegnitz organises its in-house material logistics with two load train  Factory Trains FT820 with EV4 load carriers utilising 4 adjustable forks. Michael Goihl from Material Management Logistics explains; "Our main motivation was to get forklift traffic out of the assembly halls in order to increase safety.  In the past we transported all our material to the supply areas with forklift trucks, which resulted in a high volume of traffic in the assembly halls.  The transportation damages have been reduced by 80% since the introduction of the load trains".
