With the new laser welding machine TruLaser Robot 5020 we are extending our machinery and supplement our services in industrial sheet metal processing.
With the TRUMPF TruLaser Robot 5020 we offer our customers a new and efficient welding technology that has considerable advantages in comparison with conventional welding procedures – both from the point of view of quality and efficiency.
The energy is introduced without contact and positioned very precisely on the component by the laser beam. Because of this only low thermal stress and an extremely limited heat affected zone result. Lean seam geometries and a smooth surface are the result. As a result, reworking is also reduced or even completely omitted. High process speeds ensure short processing times. In addition, the automatic rotation changer makes a simultaneous loading and unloading of the machine possible during the welding process. In the case of the TruLaser Robot 5020 two types of technology can be used: thermal conduction welding and deep welding.
Sheet metal, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass up to a thickness of approx. 10 mm can be processed on the new laser welding machine. The load is 750 kg. Due to the high automation of the machine it is designed for medium and large batch sizes, but even small series can be welded economically.
